Year End Report to Spring Convention at Seven
Springs
State Association Committee has decided this
year to keep the price at $2.00 just as the past few years since the pins seem
to move very well. We have 269 pins from last year left. Older pins are still
available for $1.00 each except the four part pin. We only have three parts
left. Part one, two and four. We are sold out of part three. Between the sale
of last year’s pin and older pins, we turned in a profit of $1,116.00
The State Association Committee received
fourteen entries in the pin design contest this year. These were submitted to
State Vice-President George Olson for judging. This year’s winning design was
submitted by Debbie Raible from Braddock Lodge # 883 from the Metropolitan
District. After my report I would like to present Debbie with her plaque.
The other entries received were from Kristie
Gaynor, Bristol Lodge # 970; Tim Barrett, Pottstown Lodge # 814 and Lydia
Devlin, Fairless Hills Lodge # 2023 all from the Southeast District. Carol Lee
Carlin, McKees Rocks Lodge # 1263; William Schran, Etna Lodge # 932; Wilson
Fletcher, Oakmont Lodge # 1668 and Pittsburgh South Hills Lodge # 2213 all from
the Metropolitan District. G.W. Jack Hill, Philipsburg Lodge # 1173 from the
North Central District.
If these persons or a representative of their
Lodge could also meet me afterwards I have certificates of participation to
present to them.
The State Association will be sponsoring a
pin design contest again this year. We encourage all Districts to participate.
These designs should be submitted to your district Representative by November
8, 2010 or this years Chairman. They will be judged by our State Vice-President.

This concludes my report.
Fraternally yours, Carol M Hutson, Chairman
PA State Association.

Subject: PESA Lodges Designated Email Address
Objective:
That we get from each Lodge
in PA one designated email address to be used by The State Secretary’s Office,
State Committee Chairpersons and other Elks who are in need of communicating
with members of the Order but have no email contact for them.
The email list on the PESA
web site will be amended to show who this designated contact is. www.paelks.com/files/e-mail.htm
First choice for each Lodge
is the Secretary, second choice the ER and if neither has email the third
choice is another Lodge Officer.
There is no need to contact
me or Dave Pular, sgtpepr10@hotmail.com
,if the Secretary is already listed, all other Lodges are requested to forward
their Secretary’s email, if he has none the ER’s and if he also has none
another officers email, to Dave Pular with a copy to myself.
